how I was thinking yesterday that my neighbour Amanda looked great in her tailored linen shirt, and I wished I had told her so. She has a great figure. I wonder why I don’t pay compliments as much as I could? I can only assume it’s because I feel envious. But today I told her I loved her skirt, which was good because it was new.

I don't think it's envy...

or at least I hope it’s not, as I do the same thing. Or should I say, I “don’t do” the same thing—I am lousy at complimenting people. And it’s not because I don’t think they are great, do wonderful things, look fantastic, etc., it’s just that it hardly ever comes out of my mouth!!!
