In a misguided attempt to force myself closer to actually moving past the third page, I bought this giant “Ulysses Annotated” at Borders. (Hey, at least it was on sale…) I have in my hands 643 pages of notes in a two-collumn-per-page format. Looking at it now, though, it is actually making me want to put off starting a little longer. Sigh.

Wow, recently, I have had a strong urge to read Ulysses ; I think because Molly has the longest sentence in literature. However, I envy you for your Ulysses Annotated purchase. Besides Ulysses, I have wanted to read Dante’s Divine Comedy (Hell-Purgatory-Paradise) which I just purchased from Barnes and Noble.
Maybe, I’ll try to read both books…too ambitious. I have all of 2008 to fulfill my goal.
