Last November I stayed up and wrote a quick ruby app to record the results of a Space Derby. I used a simple XML output format with CSS styling to display race results. Now I want to convert this over to a Rails app.

My main goals would be to allow for customized lane selections and integrating the race results data entry onto the heads up display.

Adding sound effect button on the side would make the experience more “presentational” also.
