Live an unconventional life
Untitled 3 years ago

1. give up tv. (done)
2. ???

i dont have a desire to pick up and live without a house or do anything too drastic. i still want to graduate from high school, go to college, then go live in a jungle with some tribe in africa or somewhere in southeast asia…

but right now, practically, what can i do?

What captures your imagination...

people who are unconventional don’t have to try too hard, in fact, they just follow their sense of fun and adventure that’s already there. They give themselves PERMISSION to BE WHO THEY ARE.

You’d be surprised how many people don’t do that for themselves.

Good luck!

it all makes so much sense.
:)
but whoa buddy… i’m not too sure i like who i am or that i wanna be that person.
but it sure would be fun…

About you.

Then study aspects of other people who you enjoy and admire. What are their qualities? How are they “being” in the world? We all continue to learn grow and change no matter how old we are.
You can become like them through growing. And thus learn to love and like yourself more and more.

unconventional

is doing what you think you should do instead of what other people think you should do.

like:
Jumping in a puddle.
Not watching tv
saying things instead of just thinking them….

It’s going to be different for each person.

vroom vroom

frequently we ascribe the exotic and the unusual with the names of faraway regions but most times there is no need to go so far to lead an unconventional life. its quality of living, not distance travelled.

on a side note i live in southeast asia and its rather boring and sanitised where i am. i’d rather be running around in the states, or uk, or europe; so whenever i hear people saying they’d rather be here i’m like.. no you dont! its the same all around the world! we all just want to get someplace else! argh! but i digress…
