dye my hair blonde (read all 2 entries…)

i am unsure  — 2 years ago

so i am a natural brunnette. all last year i was a redhead and i loved it…. but everytime my roots would show i hated it. grrr. i wanted to try something different… so now i want it blonde. i have light skin… but i dont want a really flashy blonde… i want like a dirty blonde…so i went to a hair salon, and they told me my hair would turn a really nasty orange, because i had been dying it red. i havent died it for 6 months!!! and i so need to dye it. should i risk it??.......hmmm.

just a question: did you bleach your hair before you dyed it red? I’ve been thinking about this myself…I would love to have red hair! ü

yes i did, i bleached it myself. which is a bad idea, i had patches and stuff…. so if you are going to bleach it i suggest you have people help you. but the second time i died it, there were no patches. hehe. i had to bleach it becaus my hair is dark. but having red hair is fantastic, you are going to love it.
