Clerks II is out in a couple of weeks, i think i will make that my target movie to go see alone. -or maybe i should wait for something i think my friends will not likely want to see. i’ll bank on clerks for the time being.

I’ve done this, so worth it. You get to eat all the popcorn you want, and get completely caught up in the movie. No one asking “what did he say?” No one hogging the armrest. no trying to cuddle. Just you and the movie.

this might sound bad…

i never shell out for the 10 dollar popcorn, cos im that guy, -like not being asked stupid questions and stuff, -unless its a horror movie in which case friends to cajole on and make fun of the thing are a must. i’ve evolved beyond the need for armrests with some kind of hyper-dimensional elbow bones that are self supporting in a mostly nitrogen or molasses based atmosphere, -and i hate to say it, but some cuddling would be a nice change in my movie going routine, although then the armrest might as well be gone, in which case, all that mental energy spent on evolving would be for nought.

i think i will still do this.

have you seen clerks 2 yet?

and going to the movies alone, at least once is pretty nice. i saw eternal sunshine of the spotless mind and i robot alone … i robot only because i was visiting my grandmother and the theatre only played two movies – and i think the other one was the hilary duff movie. . . anyways. it is pretty nice to see a movie alone – but i’m a huge fan of getting loads of people together to see a movie .. it’s fun.

ps: clerks 2 is awesome :)
