make my own Slanket
Need that sewing machine! 3 years ago

I’m looking on Ebay for a new sewing machine, but once I have that then I can start mapping out a template for my very own Slanket!

This will prove to be an awesome Xmas gift if I can pull it off!

Yeah, well, there’s a different between sounding confident and actually knowing what the heck I’m doing… ;)

I’m actually considering buying one to use as a pattern. Too bad they are sort of expensive!

It will be awesome if I can pull it off. I’ll keep you posted!

im doing the exact same thing for my parents! but im using old quilts to sew it together instead of fleece like they use. what is your plan for making it? im trying to decide whether i want to make the sleeves the same shape as a gigantic shirt, or make the sleeves simply rectangle. what do you think?

also on the website it has all the measurements of the slanket. its in the section where you buy the blanket. im gonna use that as a guide, maybe that will help you.
