Marylynn Wade is waiting for the storm to end.
How I did it: I never had an interest to cook until shortly after I arrived at college not knowing how to do a single thing. Last summer, the summer after my first semester as an undergrad, I was determined to cook everything my mother has ever cooked and much more. First, I started out with baking simple recipes like cookies or biscuits. My mother was around whenever I yelled for her to help so Iearned how to do things that might make sense to me … Read how I did it…
How I did it: My friends parents took me to yosemite this weekend, I'd never been. I really didn't have to pay for anything so I can't really explain "how" to go about doing it. It's about 4 hours from where I live and we all carpooled, etc. We stayed in a lodge (so I have not really gone camping yet). The place is larger than life. The rocks, the trees, the mountains, the cliffs, the waterfalls, the meadows... all of it.&… Read how I did it…
How I did it: So, 27 years old and I’ve seen snow out windows. This last weekend I went to Yosemite (also for the first time) and we did the “4 mile” hike, which is actually 9.2 miles round trip (4.6 up, used to be 4 but had to be redirected for some reason). Anyway, last mile or so of it was covered in snow AND it was snowing. Absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful way to experience snow for the first time. Amazing--I'm in love. Read how I did it…
How I did it: When i felt i was thinking about it too much or going of deep end i put myself in check. It is nice to have some lying around and having the option but never the compulsion. Great feelings and buzz with gals and Raggae i like it! Just be a little careful with nicotine. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Be selective, update collection, less is more. Get new music. Select music according to guest and venue. Always charge player. Bought new good speakers and arranged even better ones, that i need to give thought to... Read how I did it…
How I did it: I had slacked off badly on this while successfully doing it before. . As long as i have decent job i must always do this, minimum 50, sky is the limit. Also TAX back! And selling useless things. Then there is N's doekoe! :D Just a matter. Got plenty of cash for Thailand and have automated 200/month. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Go to more and different concerts (should broaden this even more), cleaned up and backed up Mp3 collection, was selective about what i put on player. Put on music when i feel like and when friends or g are over. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Combined it with losing weight. Of course occasional injury but if i just take time out or keep running it is fine! This is a never ending goal but already i have succeeded. I run an average of once every two days, sometimes twice a day. In some month, if i keep eating as i am, i am curious how my body will feel and what i am capable of! Read how I did it…
How I did it: http://lameandpunny.tumblr.comhttp://lameandpunny.tumblr.comhttp://lameandpunny.tumblr.comI posted here once almost every day for the past two weeks advertising my blog. I try to avoid the whole "follow for a follow" thing so that I don't feel like I'm selling myself, but if a follower has a blog I genuinely like, I WILL follow back. Read how I did it…
PepperyJasmine Every day I get healthier in body, mind and soul.
How I did it: I ate a lot of fruit. I ate more vegetables. I pretty much stopped eating processed sugar and processed flour. I started exercising a lot... walking, yoga, jogging, hiking, and other things. I mostly stopped eating restaurant food and prepared my own foods. I found quick and easy meals I could make for myself. If I was going to "eat out" I would get something healthy like jamba juice or a salad.I slept m… Read how I did it…

How I did it: Last year i was looking at the mirror , and back then i was like 165 lbs , i have never been that heavy , i've always told myself that there are more important things to do and that i don't have any time for my body and my health , and that i can spend my time in more precious things , but when i looked a gain to myself in the mirror and i saw that sorrow in her eyes i promised that girl in the mirror that next year at the same time… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I donated through my school, so I was called out of class at about 9:45. I had to wait about an hour and a half to donate, which was alright because I got to listen to music and chill instead of being in class (which was pretty unproductive anyway since I'm a 2nd semester senior) and I wasn't done until lunch time. I just about drank my weight in water as I waited, haha. Then they called me.. and my iron levels were too low! However, I wa… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I've always wanted to grow my own fruits and vegetables. Last year I attended an Urban Farm class, but still didn't have the resources for the garden. But, this year, I was hired by AHA to start a teaching garden with a local elementary school. I WAS ELATED!!! I was being paid to grow a garden. They provided all of the stuff and all I need to do is water and learn how to grow.... Read how I did it…

How I did it: I wrote in my journal several nights and though it felt a bit silly, it was good to be able to get everything on paper. Also, I could read back on previous worries and see how non-problem-ous them are now. Wow that is not even a word! But it could be that I'm sleeping better because now that I'm done with AP tests I have less to stress over, or if I'm exercising more and that's helping. Not really sure, but I'm glad I'm sleeping better in… Read how I did it…
How I did it: The first thing I did was quitting my job. That was extreme, you don´t have to do it. Next I took a notebook and a pen and I was ready to write. But, you cannot force inspiration, you should wait until it comes. That frustrated me a little bit and cried several times. I had a clear idea of my book but I was blocked. Then I realized that I had to be relaxed, and allow the words arose. That's when the magic came. I w… Read how I did it…

How I did it: After two years of dealing with a daily onslaught of email, I noticed that I was really slacking off on email during a transitional period of my life. I had a far less hectic schedule, but still I dawdled with an inbox full of unanswered emails that were giving me massive anxiety just by lurking in my inbox. I decided to get my act together using the tools listed below. Seven months later, I am answering 83% of my emails within three… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Jeff hung some small hooks in the cubby box so I could hang up my necklaces. Now they won't get tangled and I can see them all. How I did it: I signed up to YMCA and the personal trainer there taught me how to use the weight lifting machines. I used to go to another gym several years ago, for 3 years and I NEVER cared to lift weights or had any personnel teach me how to do it.Once he hooked me up with the machines I realized how easy it is! I started slow, 10lbs here, 30 there, up to 55lbs but one day I took my older sister to the YMCA and she lifted 150lbs in one machine.I was… Read how I did it…

How I did it: I have been taking the pics for my girlfriend's blog and for my own entertainment and I have learned a lot and improved. How I did it: I finally ended up begging on Facebook for someone to help me with it. Monotreme, of 43things came to my rescue. It seems it was easy for him because he has done it a lot AND has the software. Now tomorrow is the acid test, will it run on my work computer? Read how I did it…
How I did it: Yes it is difficult, inspiration never strikes, you just have to sit down and sweat it. You have to set time aside for this particular task. It helps to read books on the subject as well and to analyse other people's songs. If you do it often also, you get better at it. Read how I did it…
How I did it: You have to know your own strengths and weaknesses but arrogance actually shows insecurity. It is better to do a good job and get others to praise you. Then the other people will be genuinely impressed. I don't brag about how much I make, about that I play guitar of that I have travelled a lot, etc. Just relax and let them slowly discover you.
