How to stop complaining about little things
"It was wonderful. It feels great to not complain as much as I used to. "
How I did it: I started paying attention to when I complained about anything. I wrote down anything that seemed like it could be bigger than a little thing and worked it out.
Then I started paying attention to what other people complained about, and started listening to myself more. Anytime I started thinking about complaining about something little and stupid, I stopped myself!
It took a long time and a lot of patience but I honestly feel like I don't complain as much.
Lessons & tips: There is a really neat bracelet idea that I tried that helped for awhile. You take a bracelet or make one, and that is your complaining bracelet. You keep it on your left wrist and if you complain about something little, you move it to your right. After a day of not complaining again it can go back to your left wrist. This helped me a lot in paying attention to what and when I complained about.
