"I went back to my old neighborhood to help an old friend."
How I did it: I helped one friend do home repair (drywall - yuck) and I took dog treats - which led to meeting a woman that I've been dating for a month.
It took a couple of weekends - but I enjoyed reconnecting with old friends.
Lessons & tips: Giving away some free labor (and dog treats) can lead to good things.
