How I did it: Just over 50 hours of mainly highway practise, and hardly enough parking practise later, I went for my driving test.
The lady was really nice, and I easily passed, which was great! I did a reverse parallel park pretty well, so luckily I think she forgot to do some carpark parking, THANK GOD. I suck at 90 degree angle parking, still.
But, reverse parks - pah, a walk in the park!

Lessons & tips: I took a one hour lesson with a driving company to iron out everything, and helped settle some arguments between the parents on who was right. It helped!!
Also, my test was at around 2pm in the afternoon - nearly no traffic, which is ideal for me!
