How I did it: No, you're not... but it will make you feel like one. About a month ago, I realized that I had really let myself go since moving in with my boyfriend. My eyebrows were gnarly, My hair was raggedy and I was constantly hiding my hands because I had been biting my nails so much. I decided that I needed to get a makeover. Not for my boyfriend or my work, but for myself so that I felt a little bit better about myself.

I went out, spent some money at Sephora on new make-up. I got a hair cut and got a mani-pedi with a new set of nails. I got a new (expensive) hair straightener to keep myself looking good and I cleaned my bathroom, the source of all beauty.

When you look good, you feel good. Giving yourself a weekend and getting to the spa will not only make you look good on the outside, it'll make you feel great on the inside.

Treat yourself! You totally deserve it. And remember, no one can love you as much as you should love yourself ^_~!

Lessons & tips: Save up some money for it. I pretty much put everything on my credit card and I know I'm going to have to hide it for a month before I can put anything else on it.
