How to embroidery
"This was so much easier than I thought!"
How I did it: I got a great book out of the library and liked it so much I bought it. Then, before going on vacation, I gathered together some cotton, floss, needles, hoop, scissors and fabric marker and tossed them in a ziploc bag. I took the lot with me on vacation and pulled out the book the first chance I got. I drew some circles on the fabric using different sizes and picked some stitches and got started.
Lessons & tips: There are a lot of great books. Getting all the stuff together took me longer than anything else. Not because it was hard, I just needed to take the time to do it.
Resources: Doodlestitching book, Daisy Yellow blog, Embroidery book from the library (The New Crewel I think) for more ideas.
