How to submit a design to Threadless
How I did it: I just made a graphic that I liked and put it on their template. I tried a few things, some which appealed to me, and some which were more oriented towards the threadless community. None were received too well. I am not going to lie and say that my designs should have been chosen, but I will say that the voting stage is mostly a bunch of people trying to lower your score so they can get ahead. There is also so much content submitted that your chances of getting something picked are pretty small especially in comparison to the amount of time that you will spend.
Lessons & tips: There is definitely a clique of popular designers. If you want to get paid to make tee shirts with your artwork, do it on your own.
