How to get in the best shape of my life
How I did it: I started by doing exercises for beginners. I need to work on my balance, flexibility, and strength so I did exercises that would address these areas of my fitness. Once I was able to build up a base level of fitness, I decided to start jogging.
I joined a running group, and started running intervals of 30 seconds followed by 1 minute of walking, and did this for a few weeks until I was able to run for 10 minutes, and walk for 1 minute. Once I gained experience running, and built my endurance I signed up for 5 km road races, and worked my way up to doing a half-marathon.
In total, it took me about 2 years to get in the best shape of my lilfe!
From this point forward, I am going to continue to push myself to get even more fit, and will set fitness goals as I make progress.
Lessons & tips: Start off small. Build up a fitness base so that you can progress to other fitness activities. Find an activity that you like doing, and do it regularly. Cross train to avoid getting injured.
