How to make homemade salsa

How I did it: A little research online and lliel found a good looking recipe from about.com.
I took a trip to the grocery store with mah momma a couple of days later, and we picked out the ingredients--only fresh, organic vegetables. She tried to sell me on using a big container of pre-minced garlic, but i was not convinced!! =P
Spent about 25 minutes chopping and cooking while talking to a friend on speaker phone, and my momma and me taste-tested it.
DELICIOUS!!
Lessons & tips:
- Use fresh vegetables whenever possible.
- Organic is better :)
- Be careful of the spiciness level. The recipe I used called for TWO jalapeno peppers, but I only used one and that was plenty for me.
- On that note, simply vary the recipe as you see fit. Salsa can be a strong food...
