How to run a 5k
"I had more fun that I imagined"
How I did it: I began jogging in my neighborhood and built up to running the whole way slowly. I then marked out a path using google maps so I would know how far I'd run. I tried to do something active every day for 30 minutes. I signed up with friends to do the Shamrock Run, a fun, local 5k. It was pouring rain that day, but I had so much fun anyways!
Lessons & tips: Google maps allowed me to mark out the path.
I signed up for a race in my town.
Good running shoes also helped.
I ran with friends and that helped!
