How to take the Myer-Briggs personality test and discover your personality type.
How I did it: During my participation in the Katimavik program, there arose the opportunity for my group and I to take the basic test almost for free. The gentleman qualified to oversee the test came to our house one day and we sat down to fill out the questionnaire. A few days later we had another meeting with him and he got us to do a personal evaluation of ourselves to determine our own types and then he gave us the results of the test from before. From that we were able to choose our best fit type.
Mine turned out to be INFP, which is fairly spot on though I have several INTP and J tendencies as well but INFP fit best.
Lessons & tips: Find someone who can perhaps provide the test who won't charge full price. That test is expensive.
Don't over think, and don't put who you want to be but who you are instinctively. Be honest with yourself.
Know that there is so much more to you than a few letters so don't take it as the word on your personality
