How to see a therapist

"It wasn't all it's cracked up to be...."
How I did it: I was actually forced to go to a therapist....it wasn't a choice. My doctor "recommended" that I see one. But if I hadn't done it, I would have been going against medical advice--I just don't like therapists that ask you things that they KNOW you don't want to talk about.
Lessons & tips:
- If you truly want to do it....make sure you find someone you are comfortable with.
- Do it by choice not by force.
- Talk about the things that you want to talk about, don't let them pressure you!
