"You never know how it will help down the line!"
How I did it: I stated out at community college working during the day and going to school at night, weekends and summers. It took me three years to get my associates.
I then transfer to a state college where all of my credits were accepted. I took out student loans and deferred payment on them. I took student housing and lumped that into my tuition/loans so I didn't have to pay rent. I got a part time job for other expenses and studied, studied, studied.
8 years later, I am almost finished paying off my loans!! And my degree, even thought completely unrelated to what I'm doing, has landed me a great job! Even though it wasn't in the same field, they wouldn't have even looked at my resume had I not had a BA.
