How to run 10 miles per week
"nap-inducing, in the non-boring but exhausting way"
How I did it: After my knee injury in April, I'd been working my way up to consistently run 6-9 miles per week. Something always seemed to get in the way of just taking up a little more to ten miles per week; things like vacation and heat waves. Finally, I got serious about it when I registered for a 10k and got a training plan from runnersworld.com.
Lessons & tips: Increase mileage slowly. If you ran 3 miles this week, 10 miles next week may not be the best idea. work up to it.
