How I did it: I bought new pictures for the walls, a new desk, new filing cabinets and posters. I moved a coffee table I already had into the room. I bought a new whiteboard, a second hand computer, a new printer. I organised EFTPOS and bought some general office supplies.

Lessons & tips: Consider buying things second hand if you don't have a lot of money. I bought a second hand computer and desk, they are in really great condition and a fraction of the price for new.
