How to go back to Amsterdam
"Planning."
How I did it: I took a plane from where I was living in England. I'd been before and knew I wanted to go back as I missed out on some essential experiences when I was there the first time.
Lessons & tips: Don't take photos of the ladies in the red light district.
Find a decent coffee house - one with minimal decoration, a strong smell of weed, and staff willing to smoke their own stuff. (All Day Cafe west of the Damstaat is a good one).
Mannekin Pis has the best pomme frites I've had outside of Belgium.
