How I did it: i have family in Hawaii and my brother taught himself a couple of years ago just looking at videos online so i've always been curious about playing it. one day he let me borrow his uke, a chord book and he taught me some basic chords. watching youtube videos also helped - i played for at least an hour every day for 2 months straight..i sounded horrible for about 2 and a half weeks.

Lessons & tips: be patient. start small and work your way up. once you get it - you'll never look back!
