"After viewing many many you tube videos and experimenting with lots of cosmetics, I finally can say I know how to put on makeup that actually flatters my face!"
How I did it: I went through how-to books and mostly how-to videos on youtube.
I find that the videos were more helpful, because then you can see the technique in action. Also trial and error. You're not going to pick the right shades of color for your skin right off the bat. That takes time, patience and a lot of returns at Sephora!
