How to get a tattoo by samIam

"It was worth the pain!"

How I did it: It took a long time to decide on every detail, but I designed everything about my tattoo, and it turned out amazing. I visited every local tattoo shop, and weighed the pros and cons of each shop. It mattered very much to me that the shop and the tattoo artist have great reputations, and that they are clean and professional. Lastly, I invited my friends to come with me and watch, but I didn't hold anyone's hand. I wanted to do this independently and all on my own, with no one's help. It hurts a LOT, but I am so happy with it!

Lessons & tips: - It does hurt, but it should be something meaningful enough that the pain doesn't matter.

- Design your own tattoo. Don't just choose a tattoo that someone else got because it's easier than deciding on your own.
