How to run a half marathon
"Exhausting and exhilarating, a relief to finish!"
How I did it: I've been running (again) for a couple of years, but signed up to train with a local Galloway group, and that helped a lot. We met to train together on Saturdays for progressively longer long runs, using the run-walk-run method.
Lessons & tips: Take the time to train, and have good shoes. Go to a store that fits running shoes properly.
