How to learn to crochet
"Best thing I did this year."
How I did it: I really just started by buying yarn, hooks and a few books. The books didn't help as much as going to youtube however, and looking for videos of people physically going through each step of a stitch. Once I'd practiced the basics, I signed up with Ravelry.com and googled around for free patterns. And really just took it from there.
Lessons & tips: - it will take a week or so to get muscle memory in your fingers so that you can hold the yarn right. Don't give up!
Resources: - youtube.com

- sales prices at Michaels
- the Crochet Answer Book is a really great visual resource
