How to stop drinking soda
"My body doesn't miss soda pop at all: my experience was uneventful."
How I did it: I substituted kombucha, fresh fruit juices, and Vitamin C powder+water as either inexpensive or healthier beverages: now soda pop seems ultrasweet and syrupy.
Lessons & tips:
- switch to something sweet but natural and vitamin rich
- sugars are available in carrot and beet juices
- apple cider vinegar and honey or maple syrup in water is a decent substitute
- if you just want to ditch high fructose corn syrup, make your own soft drinks with sodawater, simple syrup, and stevia
