How I did it:

• in the summer, I was preoccupied with SAT and taking college classes and so those were the places that I could drive to with parent supervision:)
• I went to driver education classes to teach me the basis of driving (I learned 3 pt turn, reverse, park-in, and the dangers of drinking while driving)
• I begged my parents to drive, whom refused until summer, when they FINALLY let me drive

Lessons & tips:

• practice, practice, and practice!
• Don't give up..i failed the rd test the first time and was sober about it, but you have to suck it up, and keep trying, I had a friend who also failed the first time
