How I did it: My best college friend came to Vermont to visit me while I was house sitting about an hour away from home. The water there was sulfurous, so showering there was not ideal. My friend is the poster child of crunchy, and as much as she loved church street and walking on the water front, the river was really more her style. We jumped off cliffs and swam the day away. Before we left we crawled along the rocks, into the cave under the water fall and then stood under the waterfall and let it run through our hair. It was refreshing...not very cleansing as it turned out..but refreshing none the less
