My Fiance planned a suprise on my birthday in October 2008 when he asked me to get engaged and every one knew he was going to pop the question except me!
We were at a restaurant by the river Thames. My closest friends and children were with us and just before the meal arrived Lee said his mum wanted to speak to me on the phone but it was noisy in the restaurant so we went out. I went to take the phone which he placed in his pocket and with the words”I’ve got something to ask you” he pulled out a ring from the same pocket and said under the stars and the full moon shining on the river water “will you marry me?” the ring was gorgeously delicate and of course I squeeled yes As we hugged I could see all my friends and family watching us through the windows. Lee explained that he had asked my mum and the children and they were all in agreement. I started crying as he slipped the ring on and a passer by stopped to see what was happening. Then I heard cheers. I am truly in love.x
