"Gave up on finding a school worthy of taking my money (which is all they actually do anyway)."
How I did it: I didn't, but I couldn't find a means to just remove it from my list. I went to several schools over many years to try to find one suitable to my needs and desires in getting back into the martial arts. I did not discriminate between style, either—all were considered. All just were in it to make money.
Lessons & tips: Be very critical of the actual emphasis a school puts on teaching a martial art.
Resources: Go to many. Question all of them. Understand where they are coming from, what their motivation is and what their "end-game" will be.
