How to vote - decide to come in to work late or leave early by Dana is...bringing her own sunshine

"I am glad I voted. I have to admit I have not voted in the past couple of elections, so it felt good to do it this year."

How I did it: Well, I actually left work midafternoon...drove to the little community building in my town...got out of the car, walked in with voting card and ID in hand.  The little ladies handed me my form.  I sat down next to a biker guy at the little table and started darkening circles like a madwoman. 

Lessons & tips: Even if you are not an expert in all the issues I suggest you learn what you can, focus on what is important to you and vote on those issues...

Resources: pencils, internet, talking with friends about their views, and deciding what is truly important to me.
