How to quit Smoking
"JUST DO IT. IT'S AWESOME!"
How I did it:
I quit over a year and a half ago! (I quit February 13, 2010) I had smoked for nearly 8 years since I was 18. There were some month long periods where I was forced to quit because I kept getting bronchitis and almost pneumonia. So, I mostly quit for health reasons. Also, it just got too damn expensive, and I just hated how dependent I was on them.
I stopped cold turkey. I just stopped buying packs. It was hard at first, especially while driving and at work. But, I grew to forget the need for them.
I managed to do it, and I know you can too! Don't give up!
Lessons & tips:
- Be firm with yourself! Stop procrastinating.
- Focus on things that are more important than cigarettes. (Like your family, heath, and happiness)
- On average, each cigarettes costs around 25-35 cents, and that can really add up.
- You'll smell and look better. You'll Live longer.
- Stay positive.
