How to draw something everyday by I_am_X

"Took away the distractions and picked up the pencil."

How I did it: It didn't happen overnight. I gave up my PS3 and started figure drawing every day; even to this day. I can't say that drawing provides a rush like video games do, but I am happier with myself. Not to mention my skills have improved, and I have found my own natural rythm.

Not a day goes by that I don't draw something - it's like an urge I feel. I am content with my achieving this. It's really quite awesome.

Lessons & tips: Throw away your vices if you have no self-control, or limit yourself. Then spend that time drawing instead. There is obviously no other way.

Resources: Lack of a gaming console.
