How to get a ferris wheel tattoo
How I did it: Well getting your first tattoo is kind of a big deal, at least it was for me. After I had it done, it really hit me; that this was forever. I was always going to have this Ferris wheel on me, no matter where I went. It wasn't as painful as I thought it was going to be though and was pleasantly surprised. But I contemplated afterward to myself whether or not I made the right decision getting this tattoo. The notion of being judged by people differently, just because of a tattoo, made me squirmish. Also, was it the right thing to do, to mark my body? To be honest, this isn't even MY body, it is god's body. I'm not christian or religious, but I do believe that my soul resides in my body. I've heard people say that they want to decorate their temple. But in a way, isn't it already beautiful? I don't know, but tattoos can influence how I perceive the person based on the content of the tattoo, but most likely the person. Some people just are ugly because of their inner self. Others are beautiful no matter what, because of their inner self. I kind of think now that it doesn't really matter if I have tattoos or not or if someone else doesn't. But tattoos often tell a story or help illustrate something about a person which can be beautiful, eye-opening, sad, ugly, nostalgic, quirky, or anything really.
Lessons & tips: The content of my tattoo means something to me, and I designed it
myself. I didn't get the tattoo off the wall, or get it on a whim. I
thought about it for a long time.
