How to save $1000
It made me 
"I've never saved this much money before."
How I did it: I tried to save at least $100 from each paycheck, and often more. I also made around $200 selling things on etsy and won $150 in a poker game so that helped too.
Lessons & tips: Move it into a separate account and forget that it's even there.
