How to stop cursing
How I did it: First, let me say I'm not 100% 'cured' of the cursing habit. Yet I'm so very much better than I used to be. I realized that most of the time when I used foul language it was because I was either very tired or very frustrated/angry and the cursing was a sign that I was having difficulty coping. I've gotten better about taking care of myself, getting enough sleep and eating well and journaling almost daily to work through problems.
Lessons & tips: figure out why and when you curse. If it's simply a habit then use habit breaking techniques and replace the curse with a more appropriate phrase. If, like me, it shows up during times of stress, learn to manage the stress.
