How I did it: I've always let people put me down, especially boys. I've battled complexes, mainly given to me by others, such as: I'm not pretty unless I have blond hair, I'm flat-chested, I'm fat, I'm too skinny... And the list goes oooon! :)
I got myself a coach and last week we approached the whole feeling prettyness. I told her I'm not content being a cute little girl. I want to be an attractive young woman. And at that point I couldn't find a single nice thing about my appearance. My coach told me what she see in pictures of me. They were really nice and wonderful things. She then challenged me to have another look in the mirror and point out everything I like as opposed to the things I didn't like.
The night I did this exercise I had been out on a date. I was dolled-up in an outfit I love, my hair was neat and I had put on some make-up. I looked myself in the mirror and I started to notice things, even though it took me a little while to truly get started. I found I have long eye-lashes, gorgeous lips and I even noticed I have attractive cheek-bones :)
My hair is shiny and soft and I have a very feminine figure while being slim at the same time.
The best thing was that there was no cute girl looking back at me in the mirror, but a very attractive young woman ♥
Lessons & tips: Look at the positives when viewing yourself. Pick out what you like instead of what you don't like.
And don't listen to what people tell you! If it's not helpful you need to shut your heart and ears before it sticks on you. When something nice is being said to you, take it in and savour it.
Celebrate your own beauty.
