How to learn how to build websites

"Easier than I thought"
How I did it: I'm managing editor of a literary journal at my college and today I had to learn how to edit and add to our website. My friend who designed the website met with me and showed me all the ropes. Although I need more experience, I can say I now know how to create and maintain a website. Although it can be time consuming, it's not difficult. We used google/gmail for our website.
Lessons & tips: Ask someone who knows how to do it to show you the ropes.
