How I did it: We wore old prom dresses and wigs and did prom make-up.  Then we were zombiefied. We went out to eat in full make-up and blood, and were set in a  backroom where no one would see us lol.  The night before we had a halloween musical/Tim Burton movie marathon to get us in the mood.  We also dumped fake blood all over our faces :)

Lessons & tips: look up pictures of zombies online for ideas, put on the blood at the last minute, ours all flaked off and took off our white powder.  Gum paste for fake injuries or slit throats itch like crazy and peel away, so make sure it's set before messing with it.
Also don't mix tons of black in with white body paint, it's too dark, which is why the girl in the middle washed it off and went as a fresh zombie
