How to master Vim

How I did it: After reading http://goo.gl/jmo5 and http://goo.gl/HUFlJ I just decided to make the switch. I spent a lot of time reading and re-reading the second article and practicing. I also downloaded the "Smash into Vim" screencasts from peepcode.com videos. I'd been slowly moving toward using gvim on servers but was still using Textmate on my Mac. I found the whole transition easy and natural though I'm still configuring some things like folding and commenting.
