How I did it: I pushed myself towards Thai cuisine, which packs a lot of flavor into easy, light meals. Instead of using meats and dairy to make my dishes feel substantial(which is how most American dishes are made) I've learned to use sauces to add flavor to veggies, noodles, and rice.
Lessons & tips: I don't care what anyone says; you're not going to start liking veggies and other health foods just by forcing yourself to eat them, over and over. Try incorporating more healthy foods into your normal diet, and it will help you slowly turn towards accepting them. Try stir fries with your favorite meats, adding more veggies (and less bacon) to your favorite sandwich, wheat toast instead of white, etc. Healthy foods aren't usually fun by themselves, and you need some "bad" stuff in there anyway! Learn to mix them, and you'll be a much happier camper.

gerryw4655 You never know how strong you are until strong is your only choice.
I don’t have any cheers left but I wanted to say “thank you” because you are so right about the veggies. When I eat “out” I don’t mind that there are veggies on my sandwich, in fact I like them. But I never think of putting them in meals at home. Gotta make some changes there.
