How to set up a website

How I did it: I got a domain and space through godaddy, and messed around with dreamweaver until it looked right. It took me several tries to get it to do what I wanted, and I started over a bunch. But it was worth it, and I learned a lot.
Lessons & tips: There are a lot of free videos and tutorials out there, I just googled what I wanted my site to do a lot, and when that didn't work I used trial and error.
