How I did it: It took me only three weeks. I saved almost every penny that I made, and sold some things. When I told my daughter, her response was "Mom, you just made me the coolest kid in school!" She was so excited to be able to tell her friends that for spring break she was going to London. I cannot wait to take her over and show her my favourite places!

Lessons & tips: Craigslist and Ebay are your friends. Sell the things that you do not need and save ever dollar that you can. Don't buy energy drinks, that cute purse, that album on iTunes... you do not need these things as much as you need airfare!
