How to grow vegetables by kaden

How I did it:     I went to the local garden center and got plants that were already grown from seed.  So it saved me the trouble of germinating.  You just go down and they have them in racks they look kind of like annuals.  I Just picked a bunch of ones that I wanted, squash, cucumber, lettuce, tomato,

Lessons & tips: Gardening is easy, Just give it some nice soil to grow in, and keep it watered and weeded.  And keep the damn rodents out (fence in your garden, or grow in a green house so you can extend your growing season at the same time!

Resources: Other people.  talk to other people, you can get the spirit of gardening MUCH easier by talking to someone than you can over the net.

Do it! gardening is awesome. It feels real good to grow your own stuff. No feeling in the world to get in the dirt and be one with it all. And then to watch your food grow up all on it’s own…very cool. you dont even need a house to have a garden. there are local community gardens all over the place, that’s what I did. All you have to do is pay a small fee to use the land, seeing as 99% of them are non profit, it’s usually very cheap. mine was 25 bucks for the season including on site water and tilling of the parcel.
