How to stay in remission with my colitis
"Good luck and a good attitude has seen me in remission from ulcerative colitis for five years."
How I did it: It's a long story, but the short of it is: diagnosed at 15, two months in the hospital, every drug imaginable. Remicade treatment and now Immuran once a day keeps me in good shape. For all intents and purposes, I consider myself to be cured. :)
Resources: Remicade (infliximab) was the drug that finally got me over the hill. Now Immuran (azathioprine) prevents flare-ups.
