How to learn more about finances

How I did it: I was required to take a math class at my college this semester. We spent a great portion of the class talking about financial matters - things like loans, mortgages, credit, stocks, etc. I had never learned about those things before, so it was really great to finally learn how to figure out how much a loan will cost or which stocks/investments are the best to use.
Lessons & tips: Be willing to learn, and find a good source. This could be a financial adviser, a book on finances, or even a math teacher!
Resources: I had a college math professor, but you could always find a good financial adviser or a book on finances to help you out, as well.
