How to make a blanket

How I did it: I did one of those tie-blankets with my boyfriend. We bought two huge pieces of fleece material from Hobby Lobby when it was on sale. The material came up to about 26$ when it would have normally been $50. If you are going to do this I suggest trying to find a material sale.
Lessons & tips: After you have all the edges tied, you can cut the ends that are too long.
Also, if you sow them together it will offset the look of the blanket and make it lay better.
Resources: A ruler that can measure one inch increments :D and a nice pair of scissors.
